I blame this on Ken. I JUST got the car back today, I'm headed over to Kens' house to watch some movies, get on the e-way, the car down-shifts, grinding noises and there goes my trans. I'm so pissed right now I haven't even use a curse word.

FUCK!

Damn buddy. So sorry to hear that.

Remember once the pain wears off....A wise man once said...

Only the weak parts break.

DAAMMM thats shitty man i know what its liek tho ive gone 5-6 weeks in a row with somehting breaking at least once a week on more than one of my cars, its just the way shit happens sometimes, at least its pretty much winter now you can put ti up and have all winter to get a nice lintech(sp?) aod put together

Now you'll start finding the weak links! Everytime I used to step the power up with my combo's I knew I would find the next weak part. Fun hobby I know!

meh... i guess i don't see the humor in this. :headscrat

it sure did go like hell before it ate the trans though!

now you have all winter to put together the rest of the pieces for a complete package. :badass:

Built by who and what parts? Rebuilt and built for your new power level are two different things.

It was built by a guy I know who operates Transmission Authority in Waterford/Whitelake, with Raebestos blue racing clutch and steels, an A+ overdrive servo, reworked valvebody and some other upgraded parts. I'lll have this bitch fixed by Sunday, I'm not just gonna be denied my grudge matches at Lapeer.

Well, while this is shitty news, there is a bright side to all of this. That bright side is that there are a TON of parts for your model car. Fixing what is currently fucked shouldn;t cost you much. It will be better, faster, and stronger next time.

Yea, that it did and I didn't really let it get into the peak boost because of the populated streets lol. I wished I could've showed you on the e-way and that plug wire hadn't been melted.

Winter? Forget that. It'll be done by this weekend and that's my word.

Im going to have to go ahead and agree with all at least its a mustang, parts are cheap, easy, and most things can be repaid for a reasonable price, when i had the 240 that dam thing would break down at least once a week and things were not cheap or easy to find for that pile

Sounds like the Probe I had. I went through 2 egines, about 4 distys a computer and a trans all in one year...which is why I got rid of it.

Yea sometimes you gotta know when to get outa em, i relized that on the 240 about $3000 to late, took huge loss on that one well leave it at that haha
