HP computers. Their customer service is even worse. This is my 2nd laptop and it still is falling apart. Wireless just quite working, hard-drive burned up, won't run off battery, digital media ports won't function, etc.

Sorry just ranting a bit

I love my Alienware, but try calling thier customer service. I talked to Sven for like an hour and got nothing out of it. Couldn't understand a word they said.

Sounds justlike mine, min the keyboard is really slow but i have evrything else you said, Sometimes my keys won't type

kinda like this sentence I have to type really sow or else will satrt missng keys and type the worong letters sometime's. It very annoyin having to proof read evrything i type.

I have a hp pavllion zd8000 and can only type about 10 words a minute for it to work right and i bought the stupid 3 year warranty for nothing because everytime i call they say "We don't cover that"

computers 101 - NEVER FUCKING BUY A PREBUILT COMPUTER!!!!!

4 years ago I built my own PC for $525 and at the time was the equivalent to a $1600 dell/gateway. And its still a nice comp compaired to todays standards. Don't say its to hard or time consuming either. If you can change your oil you can build a computer and it takes all of an hour to put together and an hour to load windows

i use my laptop constantly...customer to customer...havent had a problem with it.

It's an HP and just over a year old.

Dell is also very good.

All computers are the same its the user that sucks. sorry. had to be a dick about this one, but its true.

Its the zx5180. I have had 2 of these. Everything burns up in them for some reason. Talked to a friend of a friend and he had the same problems. Talked to some other people and same thing. I have other HP desktops and not one problem. Just this model of laptop. Also I have that 3 year extended warrenty where they won't cover anything. They keep telling me its all third party parts. I am like well you sold me the laptop soooooooooo you should cover it. Its a endless battle trying to talk to them.

You can. It's even easier because the screen/keyboard/mouse/speakers are already there. All you need to pick out is ram, processor, and a video card. I priced out a laptop I want to build before next school year and it came to $1200. And its the same specs as a top of the line Dell (about $2500)
