Same here, I talked to Rich about a trans for my Camaro but he wanted 2x as much as Darrell did. And it's been taking a hard beating all summer long so far with no issues. Not knocking Rich, I just didn't have that kind of coin at the time.
 
Bought a new take out 6.0L iron block with crank, oil pump and rear seal cover from a member of michigan speed a while back for $300 got a set of bare L-92 heads from SPDC for 350. Have you guys seen the new LT1/4 engine?!?! its pretty much a small block ford.... even has the same Intake/exhaust arrangement....... but that kind of power, that cheap, in a much smaller package..... you just cant go wrong. The neighbor says they make stupid power..... really easy....... and aren't as top heavy as mod motors...... maybe you guys have heard of the guy.... his name is Kurt Urban..... LOL!!!

I made the reputation comment, nothing worse than some die hard Ford guy worried about a fox body Mustang having a GM engine etc. If you can't have an open mind about cars, modifying, hot rod creations etc than I guees you don't need to be playing with cars, it's an over produced fox body Mustang and not like someone is installing a LS motor in a 67 Shelby.

And to the OP - If you would like to be a hard ass and "race me" cause your so fast please let me know, I'm sure I can whip up something real quick to bust your ass
