the joke would be funny in a couple months, but who would remember. Times like these you can't take shit too seriously (at least that's how i feel).

On a day where 2 local car guys have died, I would say joking about someone dying just shows no class, not a sense of humor.

A close friend of the family died in that gravel pit accident this week so death jokes are not funny right now.
 
Tough crowd here. Cops and others who work cases like this make jokes like this one to keep their sanity. It wasn't out of line to me.

relax guy. i wasn't making fun of them. You act like you knew Cory Lidel personally. I'm not making fun of someone's mom or your friends (rip mike and chris). If the joke was vauge and didn't mention a name...it would have been funny.
