I bought another car and not sure what to do with it

is it the mopars that let you stroke out a motor really cheaply to like a 434 or something like that? using all stock parts

i would keep it all mopar! i would contact either muscle motors or indy cylinder head and put yourself together a killer bb mopar!

how much for the Kirkeys?

I'm gunna out them in the duster you want them for the goat i take it?

We have a pile of bb mopar stuff if you go that route.

I will keep that in mind. After talking with a buddy of mine whos a huge mopar guy I think I'm gunna build the 440 no just need to decided on a trans.

i saw this thread this morning and it was full of fail

now the thread has less retarded bastardry of cars (yes i just made that word up) so now i can post with out my head blowing up,

big block mopar, B1 Heads with twin hair dryers

Full of Fail ? why?

leave the mustang alone...trust me its nice to have a car to play with when you're working on a project...being carless blows

Thats what I'm scared of I've gone almost three years without a car and now that the stnag runs I'm afraid to take it apart or even do anything to it that will jepordize it not being ready for next year lol.

I think al li'm gunna do to it is put the interior back to something comfortable and stretable, clean the heas up new valve springs and a anti-rool bar. That will be more than enought to get it deep in the nines which is all i want it to do.

Well my choice would be obvious. Go with the Mopar. The one thing about the Mopar is most blocks don't like it when you go over 500cid.

Parts at www.440source.com

Good prices on strokers

yeah i was looking around on there at stuff decent prices just worry about the quality of the stuff seem slike its slightly better pro comp or cat deal..

I'm not rich, that all motor games for people with money lol. It will have a power adder of some sort so its not a turd :gr_drivin

put the bbf in it because thats what you have, its a chassis car,if it was a camaro i would still put the ford in it.
horse power ishorse power no matter what make it is.

hmmm... Call Muscle Motors =D We build some REALLY nasty BB Mopars ;)

Hows 1000+ N/A horsepower sound? We've got a few combos that make real good power.

Heres a sheet for a 511/400 combo we did..

Not bad, that's about what our 499 makes.

Yeah the part that sucks is the mid plate was formed out of the firewall, and the font plate is already there and the trans cross memeber.

Its all set up for a 440 already plate is there trans everything. And he is giving me a complete steel crank 440 so i might just build a stock crank 44X throw some boost at it and call it a day.

I have a shop that sponsors my buddy who gives me the best deals on machine work. I have always assembled my own engines for some reason I've never trusted other people to take the smae pride and care build something for someone else. When its your own stuff you take you time and really pay attention to the details.

Werd. If you want some ideas for combos/parts tho, give em a call. They've been doing Mopars for years. I'm really excited about this one we've got on the dyno - an all aluminum BBC thats making ~970hp on E85, we're trying to get her over that 1000hp mark.

I will keep that in mind thank you for the offer!!!!

+1

I was thinking about a set of their (www.440source.com) aluminum heads for my car.

yeah i read about those i heard there not all that bad just buy them bare and put some good stuf in them. I geuss there is a lil issue with the locks and retainers that they suppliy with them.

but for under 700 bucks for a bare aluminum head that flows 290 outa the box thats a deal.

If you need someone to build a good trans for a mopar I know a guy that only builds torqueflites

I'll keep that i mind but I would like to run a th400 or PG seems there a lil cheaper to build and way way more aftermarket avalible. Plus they seem to be indistructable if done right.
