I bought another car and not sure what to do with it

Get the car yet? :)

Keep the Mustang if you got the space for both.

sunday,

I am keeping both just not gunna do as much to the stang as planned. Just gunna get it straightened out so it runs right it ran like crap when i had it out but was to be expected for the first time out with it being a new set-up and well car for that matter.

Its got alot more in it than the craptastic 10 teens it was running. Should be fun next year.

I helped build a 440 duster back in the 80's
went 11.50's with a mild motor
I am sure with todays technology you will be able to get the car into the 10's with no problem with a chassis car
if memory servs me right there is a place in union lake on haggerty just south of richardson
kofflels or somthing like that the guy was a mopar guru

how much power do you need to go as fast as your thinking ?

And I'm not sure what to do

Its a 73 Duster Tube chassis car. Straight up sportsman chassis someone slid a 73 duster body on top of. It's ladder bar with mustang II stuff up front blah bla blah the list goes on. Its very very nicely built I don't know who built it buts ITS NICE!!!

It needs to be completed but Its already mocked up with a 440 and big spline toploader, lakewood bell which comes with the car an a extra 440. It comes with a build you own header kit for the 440, has pedals for the trans ect.. Basiclly its ready to rock minus floor tins, wiring, brakes and a fuel system. I would have to go thru the engines since there a bizzillion years old and were only used for mock up and have yet to be built.

Heres my question I was gunna sell the mustang and finish this for next year but now I'm leaning against leaving the stang alone minus some bullshit that it really needs. Then just beating the snot out of the stang all next year while I work on the duster.

Heres my question: Should I build one of the 440's or trans plant the BBF out of my stang into it?

I've never seen a chrysler with a BBF in it and I know it would make alot of people upset lol

Either way whichever motor it gets will have a pair of GT45's on it that were gunna go on the stang this year but I've decided to wait after purchasing this duster.

So what should I do

440 (501") Twin Turbo indy headed basterd with a toploader

460 (5XX") Twinturbo with a C6/or Glide I can go either way

The mustang will be kept and have a small block mild engine, stock interior and seats return'd to it and I will let my brother and sister race brackets with it.

I wasn't gunna tell anyone but I really don't care anymore who knows its not like I'm out racing people for money and stuff this is about the fun for me while trying not to go broke lol

Bump... mustangs long gone sold it last year.

Duster is home as of last week and already got things rolling on it. If all goes will the duster should be done and out mid summer next season.

I'm gunna do a build thread prob if anyone cares to follow the progress.
