Anyone have experience running them bottomed out or close to it?

Not bottomed out but I have shimmed them internally so they only have .020 -.015 inch travel..
This was actually suggested by the cam grinder to diag the car. I was chasing a issue and we thought it was the lifters colpasing from too much spring pressure. Car actually still has the lifters like that today and has lots of street miles on it with no issues.
mine are not touched straight out of the box and i spin them to 8000rpm... with no problems..
Only light weight is the Tit, retainers. .. Shaft rockers keep shit nice and true thought...I'm going to guess you have a shit ton of lightweight componants stacked on top of them...lol
Thanks guys. I was just curious. I had a lifter that wouldn't pump up but I just replaced it. I'm running the comp pro magnums. I'm worried about my spring pressure though. I'm running some pretty stout pressures but the comp lifters are supposed to be able to handle quite a bit. I hope they don't collapse LOL.
