i dropped the rear end and k-frame and sent the k-frame out to be sandblasted and powdercoated in black. the rear end i painted black and would like to put a 3.27 gear in it in the future.

too funny you guys are cracked me up but your right it does look redneck like.i didn't want to damage the body flipping it over and it did the job.

LoL

nice build though keep us updated. Why remove the cage though? would be perfectly streetable and nothing wrong with a slightly stiffer chassis.

i am doing more of an update type build all the newer mustang features and options.i bought brand new 2008 cobra seats for this build and i also picked up the gt/cobra rear out of 2003/2004 gt or cobra back seat.they match up well and i didn't want the cage to take away from the look i was after.the motor i have has been rebuilt and has less than 2ooo miles.i would like it to produce around 300 horses.the chasis will have maximum motorsports full length subframe connectors welded in. i also have kenny brown jacking rails that i will be welding in as well.

ya, but ya gotta love the ingenuity!.....

nice work so far, keep us posted, fellow redneck.....:icon_smil

thanks for all the kind words fellas

I believe I saw the number somewhere and its not many. Most people dont know the the t-tops themselves are different than the 81-86 t-tops. So there tough to get ahold of.
