How young is too young?

I'm newly single and starting to date again. I turn 25 in about a month or so. All of my ex gf's have been 1-2 yrs younger than me, so pretty normal I'd say.

I've met/talked to a couple 18-20 year olds, and they seem really cool, but I just get the feeling that I'm doing something bad. :dontknow: I mean theres this cool chic that just graduated this past year, and has a really nice body, nice personality, but looks REALLY young.

I'm not a player/dog, but lets be real if I'm serious about dating a chic I'm gonna want some 'fun time'.

Is that just more drama than its worth? I mean jesus christ she was in elementary school when I was a senior. :icon_eek:

And then theres the parent factor, like what the fvck is this 24 y/o going out with my barely legal daughter???

Advice/suggestions? Other than huh huh huh PIITB :pow: :icon_mrgr

There is always the half plus seven rule! Half your age plus 7 is the youngest to date. At least that is what I remember from college. So 19 is within your range.

But seriously, as long as you both get along and have similar likes, goals, etc. There is nothing wrong with a little age differential. Sometimes dating the younger women though you will notice a difference in maturity level. That is one thing that bothered me at times when I was dating.

I'm 26 and my gf is 19. It has it's down sides. Mainly immaturity. Though if you fight through it it's well worth it.

Anything is capable of working depending on the people, but I have to ask - do you really have anything in common with an 18-20 year old?

By age 25 most people are done with school (if they decided to go) and are working full time. The folks who entered the working world right after high school have 6-8 years of experience under their belt.

Normally people are done with the bar scene long before 25. 18-20 year olds can't even legally drink.

I could go on and on, but the skinny is that I think most people have much different goals at 18 than they do at 25.

no younger than 21 that way they get their booze empowerment phase totally out of their system before you meet them.

For just fucking, 18 is perfect.

For actual dating, I wouldn't think about anybody younger than 23. They need to get the bar/slut phase out of their system. You don't want to be around during that trainwreck.

I got lucky, and my girl is extremely tame. She went to the club once and decided she didn't want anything to do with being a club slut.

My wife (recently wed about 2 months ago) are 8 yrs apart..
I am 38 and she is 30..
I just had my 20yr reunion last week aand I was thinking when I graduated she was only 10..

Remember that 30 and 38 are pretty much at the same point in their life. Done with school, working, living independently, ready to start a family (variable), etc.

Then it's prolly a good thing you weren't dating her back in high school. ;)

right...
well at least i wouldve had free room and board for awhile.. plus some :bling: jewelry..

I agree with AT LEAST 21 but probably alittle older if you want to have anything last.

But I am 27 and married for 4 years now and if I became single I sure i would have fun for a little while but it would get old real quick and then I would start looking for something real. As you get older I think it becomes harder to find women worth keeping. All the good ones get taken.

I'd go one more year and say 19 is perfect for fucking. I don't want to be attending Senior prom

YOU are complaining about HER immaturity?  THAT'S RICH!!! I look forward to your numerous threads in the next few months about how all women are evil, bitches, etc when this one leaves you too. It's your MO and you do it after break up.

Joe, I say 18+ is a green light. Good luck. Oh, and don't forget the "CHICKS MIX."

I constantly bust my wife's chops about our age difference. She's 30 and I'm 26. (lucky for me she looks about 22 or so) :D I always tell her that when she graduated high school I was just finishing up 8th grade and looking to start High School. She doesn't like that. :D
