Deer are taken every once in a while that have a broadhead found broken off in them. You could proably cut the ends off and it would be fine.

But she'd be much better off as jerky in my freezer.
 
I guess I see your point, but it's still just a deer. Spending a bunch of money for her to end up in a freezer or the hood of a car seems silly.

If this deer was running around at our property we would come up with some sort of bet for Deer Camp with who could kill this deer 1st.

Poor Deer but they are truly tough animals. I bet that Doe will have no issue making it through and leading out a normal lifespan. We have seen a few deer with broadheads or gun shot wounds well after the fact of when they were shot that were fine!

I also agree it would be better off in my freezer!

EDIT as you can see (or appears to be) the Broadhead that was used was a self expanding one that opens on impact. It did not do its job, but yes that was a terrible shot none the less. I also hate Hack Hunters!

there is a deer that runs around by my house that only has 3 legs the 4th is taking off right about 1/2 way probably got shot off, but she gets around just fine
 
Nothing makes a sportsman sad quite like wounding an animal, or seeing one wounded. Too bad that deer wasn't hit the right way.

1 she is little
2 someone needs a lot of practice
3 shitty mechanical broad head (Grim Reaper)

If she made it this long she will be ok
