How to check?

if they are NX they have a lifetime warranty. I sent mine in for a rebuild when I got them and will probably send them in every year now

Not much that can go worng with solenoids and you can buy rebuild kits for them (O rings etc) Hook them up to a 12v source if they click the coils are good and the only other test would be to see if they hold presure and that a simple connection to a full bottle for the N2O side and the fuel you can use regulated air pressure to test for saftey purposes.

Not always true. I have 2 Cheater solenoids that click & open & everything looks & sounds right but the car instantly goes PIG rich & dies. They dont seem to be opening all the way when activated. Put a new solenoid on & everything was perfect... figured it was a fluke so I put the other 2 on again & the same thing.

Thats how these ass clowns on EBAY get away with selling these things........... They click when put to 12 volts.

if your system is hooked up, on mine i just unhooked the intake and fired the system. bypass any window switch type stuff you might have.

I would check to make sure there is nothing keeping the solenoid from opening. There is nothing too these things.. about the worst thing that can happen is the coil go bad or I have seen a few stick open. They are rebuildable and can be rebuilt in a matter of 5 min.
