How Not to Dig Up a 155m Shell...Vaporized???

its just one of those things, you gotta wonder who the hell would try to dig up a shell like that with a rifle no less....jeez
 
They weren't coalition forces the video said. They were "volunteers" whatever that means. My guess is locals that said they would help the coalition forces out would be deemed "volunteers" and they probably aren't trained as well as typical military forces? This is all speculation. One of our Iraq-based soldiers on here should be able to help us figure it out.

I believe thats correct. At first I thought they were going to get blasted by the AC-130 but wow.... Wow the hell prys on a shell with a rifle? :loser:

Desperate people that want to dig it up and sell it to someone who will then turn it into an IED???
