How long before you get trade in offers on lease

Right now I have a Ford escape, I'm starting to get scared of going over my miles. I have a 3 year lease and at end of year 1. How early do they usually offer? The answer I keep seeing is 3 months. Thanks

Yea 3 months seems to be the standard early turn in. I've got a FCA lease ending in August. Dealer called last week to find out what I'm interested in going into for new lease.

When they did a lease pull ahead for my wife they prorated the mileage. She drove a lot the first few months which added up quickly, but she wouldn't have been over at the end of the lease. I told Lincoln that we'd get a lease through them if they made the mileage cost go away, and they did.

^This. Same thing happened on my wife's last lease. She was aiming to go over a little on miles but turning it in early didn't make a difference. 12k mile lease = 1k miles per month. Turn it in 3 months early and you lose 3k miles.
