How long before the law gets me?

Been rollin 20% on my black GP since 03, only been stopped once.(specifically for tint by MSP) Most local depts wont bother you. I do roll mine down when I see State police though

Hey assface, :roll: that crap tint on my car now was there when I bought it. For the 100th time, it get's stripped and re-tinted next week when my buddy gets back from SEMA.

Thanks everyone. I'm really liking this tint! My brighter reverse lights look like they'll be here tomorrow! Whenever I see a cop, I just open my moon roof and lean towards the center of the car a bit so you can see me. It's something. Maybe it'll change someone's mind if they were going to pull me over :dontknow: I would love to go darker next time. It looks so nice and I dont have any problem seeing out of it. (Except backing up right now) Going to get my truck retinted next spring. Maybe earlier.

as for being pulled over, you'll be fine. Just don't pull the "ohh i didn't know it was illegal officer i bought it this way..."

I finally was pulled over in my ram last week after having it for almost 2 years. the cop pulled me over in a friends driveway and asked for my Dr. note, i told him i don't have one, it's illegal i am aware that i can't have anything on the front windows and that i work at a detail/tint shop. The cop ran my stuff came back and said "well i guess just get a Dr. note or something i'm not going to write you a ticket"

Throws cops way the hell off when you tell them the law and you're aware it's illegal. i had the same thing happen in my old ranger and the cop didn't know how to respond when i told him the written law line for line :lol:

That's awesome. Good idea. :nod: I think if I get pulled over just tell them I'm going to try and get a note because lights bother me. Which they do, during the day and at night. I wear my sunglasses at night sometimes because of the lights. :dontknow: Oh and I know I just quoted a song. :lol:

Thanks for the video reminder. I thought I was getting pulled over tonight, I was kind of speeding following this guy and a State cop was RIGHT there pulling out of a park and ride. He just sat there and sat there...the turned the other way. Then my asshole relaxed and let go of the seat. :lol:

BTW, do what i do with my tinted from windows, when the cop is pulling you over, roll the windows down,pull the fuse for the window motors from under the dash and hide it. then when the cops comes up play dumb and tell him your windows dont work, he must be mistaken. Trust me, its GREAT!! :roll:
