How I spent my winter this year - fryguy's "street" criuser

Getting really close now. Have to thank wiring Joe (Duke) from downriver motorsports wiring for the slick wiring job and Ryan yet again for trimming the quarters so that I could put the tires exactly where I want them.

Joe built a totally custom and perfect fitting harness in the car and these firewall connectors are sweet. If we have to pull the engine, all we have to do is remove these at the firewall.

This one won't even go 8s let alone 7s. But I was serious about racing him with my mustang, so we'll see.

Mustang races the zx14, he hurt the engine at the Shakedown but I am sure will be down for some shit this spring. Just so you know it went 7.20's last year so you better come with your A game.

RS electronics sells all kinds of bulk head style connectors like that (AMP connector by TE). I use those exact ones and several other styles for interface an controls on the systems I build and install at work, they are not weather tight and the locking collars break real easy! Be careful using those in a car application!

They have a reciever groove but its not deep enough to hold a thin o-ring correctly nor are the pins sealed on the backside, I've tried and had alot of failures with them. I'm not knocking Joe's work, please don't take this that way his stuff looks amazing! Just giving cauting from my experience using those products.
