How fast do you really want to go?

I just wanna drive a drag car that breaks into the 8 second club. Doesn't seem like much but the fastest I've been driving a car was a 11.59 Camaro at Stanton last year
 
Doing something like from the movie Cannonball Run (I know they have real ones but I can't think of their names off hand) would be more fun than anything to me. Get a nice car that can get to 180+ fairly easily and go nuts over various stages. Have parties at each stop.

Plus it's a rigid, and on michigan roads it will be even more fun, just in case your're wondering, my care factor is at (0) zero..

Thats actually why I only want to go maybe 50 miles an hour. Laid back like that. I'm in no rush, steady mobbin :D

Check out www.playersrun.com and pokerrun.com. THIS IS ALSO ONE OF MY LONGTERM GOALS. They also have the Ultimaterally.com. It's basicly the top 2% wealthiest car nuts in the world that drive these things. I think the players run is a $10,000 entry fee, one car, two member team, VIP everything.. GOOD TIMES!!!

I'll look at those. At least once in my lifetime I'll get in on one of these. Years ago when I worked for an overly rich guy in Birmingham I think I got pretty damn close to getting him to enter one of them (don't recall which) I told him I'd drive and the other guy I worked with would co-pilot his turbo Porsche, haha.
 
Fuck that lets start our own. We'll go from Detroit to Chicago....keep it short early. No entry fee. Just show up, hah.

I hear that, Me and you man. I asked my girlfriend, and she said FUCK NO. I would never drive rally race a car from NY to LA. I'm like whatever, I'll find someone.:D

Hell yeah! I tried a while back to see who would be in with me. I had a friend say he would co-pilot but had no interest in driving and I told him that was fine, haha. Maybe once I get out of college next year I'll treat myself to one of these and pop the engine in the SRT, haha.
 
like in the movie driven when that kid drives the indy car in downtown chi town... that would be a blast....
