How do you want to Die?

This is a depressing subject, but we seem to be hearing alot about death lately......Most recently the olympian in the "media events" forum.....But this brought up a certain question......How would you prefer to go when its your time....???


I myself want a quick death, I do not want to suffer. I have seen people dying slowly from illnesses and it does not seem like something I would want to experence. I would prefer a quick "tragic" death over a long drawn out painful death.

Whatever it is I hope it is painless and quick.

Either that, or the scene in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life comes to mind... :lol:

For starters I don't want to go until it's my time. So that would obviously exclude a parachute not opening, stray bullet, etc.

Natural causes following a -short- illness after living a long, healthy, productive, and prosperous life would be my preference.
 
quick. and i want to be awake. i dont want to die in my sleep. i have always wondered what its like when the lights go out. ive been knocked out numerous times, and i wonder if its like that, but you never wake up?

i want a death where people post it on a forum like this, and most of the replys are like "well he didnt feel a thing" "atleast he was having fun when he died" etc... i know its fucking morbid but you asked. haha. the last thing i want is to die in some hospital or nursing home with 3,000 iv's and tubes and shit plugged into me.

after spending 3 strait months in a hospital room and watching my wife die right in front of me, uhhh im good on that shit...

as far as dieing in my sleep, i dont want that either..for the longest time i was TERRIFIED to go to sleep..the thought of my going in my sleep and leaving my daughter without any parent would absolutly kill me..

id prefer to die doing something i loved doing, and atleast be able to tell me daughter that i love her so very much before i go..damn now im startin to cry tihnking about this shit...
