How do you verify a Drivers license?

Is there a way to check an out of state drivers license to see if it is valid? My brother in law is up here from Ohio and is a compulsive liar. He is driving our cars and said he has a valid license. But his sister in Ohio said to check because last she heard was that it was suspended. I need to find out before I get screwed over.

Not sure how you can do it for another person's license, but I just asked an on patrol cop to run my license and he told me exactly what was on it and whether it was valid or not.
 
Well usually if your pulled over while its suspended they will arrest you and punch a whole in it. Most bars think with a whole in it is expired cuz they punch a whole over the expiration date. Least thats what they did with me
 
Just take his id and ask a random cop to check it or go to the station and ask the clerk, explaining with the story you just gave here; they should have no problem with it.

Or PM subiecop I'd bet he'd help you out.
 
there is some thing through the sec of state online u can do i forget what its called though. its free. u need the lisc number and full name.
