I would be VERY surprised if there is a 09, 10, 11 etc gto. ;)
 
GM is planning on a new GTO selling between 15000 and 20000 units based on the new Camaro. Firebird is dead, and GM knows it can charge more for a GTO. GMs new 3 valve engines are rated at 280hp (6 cyl), 380hp, and a 6.3L 480hp.

the only news ill believe is when it hits the showroom. No use wasting time reasearching and getting exited about some info that might not be true or will probably change anyways before production.
 
All I've heard about the new ones is that it will be engineered in Australia and built in Canada. That does sound like a winning combo.
 
I think the problem is that people think the Mustang and Camaro are sport cars... They aren't.

The GTO, Definitely is NOT a sport car. The exterior is bland, nothing that grabs the eye... which may be good for a sleeper.

I agree 100% with the cavalier combo, whenever i see one on the street, I think first Oh.. cavalier, then nope, Cobalt? Nope, must be a gto.
