how bad is 8mile near mound?

You need to grow a pair.
8 mile and mound has no real foot traffic, other than the Assembly plants near by. I would have 0 issues living in that area.
8 mile and Vandyke and Gratiot usually have a lot of people standing around...usally lots of activity and people looking to eat you.
Just watch and read the signs.....

Dude that is too damn funny, i actually stopped to take a pic of this when i was out there just so i could post it here!!!

and the area i was in was Atlantic ave 3 blocks north of 8mile, not bad but not what a city slicker is used to. It was worth the drive and going through the area to buy an amp at half of what they typically sell for

I wish i coulda snapped a pic of the sign right after it that read "CAUTION CRACKHEAD INFESTED AREA, SECURE YOUR BELONGINGS!" god i sure do appreciate the rural life.

7mile at woodward, some gutless fuck cracked off some rounds at a friend of mine, who I also work with, who is also a member here.

I've held off posting it, since I haven't been able to talk with him in person yet. But shit can go down anywhere. Be prepared and RETURN FIRE!

He was in a DTE vehicle and on the job.

thats ridiculous, I would hate to have to work anywhere in that area.

I grew up at 8.5 and mound. Wasn't bad then (80's-90's), but it's starting to get a little more "hood". I have friends that still live down there so when I visit I bring the heat, lol!

none of these areas are that bad, if you don't go down there and act like your scared or an ass the locals don't bother you.

my grandpa lived in southwest detroit til the day he died and we would go visit him all the time and never had any issues, we would get a kick out of watching the guy sell crack on the corner and see the dpd roll by .
