hey guys my 04 Colorado has a nasty squeal coming from the rear axle. Its very loud and goes away if i brake-torque it hard enough so obviously i suspected the rear brake drums first. I just replaced the original rear brake pads yesterday (113k on the truck) and readjusted them appropriately. The same exact squeal already came back on my drive in this morning. I scuffed the drums as best I could with 150 grit, is that not enough or could it be something else? Do the drums need turning? I feel like a squeal this loud shouldn't replicate with brand new pads regardless of the drum condition.
