Hope this does come off wrong but.....

I'm sure this is old news and someone has already brought this up but I am looking to purchase a new car and have trolled Craigslist quite a bit and notice 90+% of the "rebuilt" titled cars are in Dearborn? Is there something up with this? Obviously we all know the culture makeup of Dearborn and I am not trying to go down that road but I am genuinely curious.

Anyone else ever notice this? Is there a massive salvage auction lot there or something? How are people in that city selling so many of them.

So you want this to come off wrong? lol

It's been covered a couple times on here and the responses are about what you probably expect.

#1 rule of buying a used car. Try and stay away from Dearbornistan, and don't buy from people that excessively use the words "my friend", "buddy", or "cousin".

Thanks for the tip buddy....Appreciate it cuz.....')

No no no my friend, very good deal! Car wasn't hit hard, my cousin put it back together and he's very good with mechanic. C'mon buddy! This won't last long! #coolwateryoloswag

I made the mistake of going to look at a Crown Vic P71 in Dearborn. The car looked great in the pictures, dude was asking $3500... I get there and I swear it wasn't even the same car. Love led similar, black cop car, but yeah, it was so torn up I honestly think he just posted it on CL with stolen pics. Within 2 minutes he was down to $3000 and he chased me to my car trying to selling it "special price today buddy, $1500!" The guy called and texted me for weeks. When somebody chases you while lowering the price, it means keep running

Auctions, Craigslist, and eBay. They buy them all banged up then have somebody reassemble them, give them a $200 car wash, and put it up for sale.
