Home inspection - Short sale

Hey guys, does anyone know of a great inspector?

The real estate agent gave my friend two companies that he could call for the inspection but he would like to use someone that doesn't necessarily do business with this agent or the listing agent. The house is a hort sale and after putting in the offer the listing agent later informed him that the house previously had a fire in the basement but that the house was redone through an insurance company which apparently is offering a 3 or 5 year warranty on the work can't remember the length.

I found it suspicious that it wasn't in the listing and was hoping I could find him someone that maybe specializes in damage repair like this?

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

He's extremely thorough. I've sent a few people over there in this club and everyone has been happy.

Let him know you got the number from Raj from the car club.

There is always a disclosure form filled out when a house is listed. That fire may have been mentioned on that but was not necessarily in the ad. It should have been explained when the offer was put in or even about to be submitted. And if it is fishy, your friend can always walk away.
