Mr. Hair Gel Overgeller
Like the title says, I need to get a heeting and cooling person over at my place today.
My house got down to 58* upstairs at around 4:30 this morning and the furnace would not kick on for some reason. I cranked the lever on the thermostat to 90* and waited...nothing.
I went down stairs, checked the pilot (it was lit) messed with a couple things, and nothing. I pulled the front cover (the one that blocks the flame when the furnace fires up, the wires, etc) and as soon as I pulled the cover off, the furnace fired up. I put the cover back on and went back upstairs, put the lever on the t-stat at a normal setting, and went back to bed. 10 minutes later, the furnace shuts off. I pulled the cover again, wiggled a few wires, and the furnace fired up again so I went to sleep.
I get up this morning, the house is at 60*. I'm ok with that but my wife and daughter aren't, and I know there is something wrong here. I go wiggle the wires, I hear the click, the flame fires up, the furnace kicks on, and we're off...only to have it work 10 10 minutes and shut off again. It just did it again! So I go wiggle the wires, I hear the click, the flame fires up, the furnace kicks on.
I need help, folks. Money's tight as hell right now with me having just started a new job and not having any commissins rolling in yet, so if anyone can help me, I'd be VERY appreciative!!!!
Thanks in advance!
