I am currently a senior in high school and this is my ongoing mustang project. I have a 93 notchback lx that i am in the process of converting into a v8 car. I am now in the body work portion of the project and things are going well although slow and tedious. Here is a list of the work i have done so far and what I aim to complete in the future.

Things I plan to do with the car.
Im not really trying to make this car a drag car or a "beast", i am just trying to get this car to look nice and be a blast to drive around town. I am also doing the best i can on a budget and learning a lot along the way. If you have any comments or advice feel free to respond and if you have an engine or trans i maybe intersted as well. Work i have done so far:
- Removed trunk moldings and trepired all rust before resurfacing the trunk.
- removed old interior carpet and old healiner along with driver and passenger seats
- repainted the cars floorpans and fixed boken center consule
- added new seat brackets along with new bucket seats (with seat covers) and reisntalled back seat
- Cleaned old headliner board and reaplied new headliner material
- removed old 4cly engine along with the original transmission
- removed old exhaust setup
- used dremel and bondo to repair rust on the outside of the trunk lid
- removed original wiring harness from car. (plan to go carb.)
- Currently working on paint prep
Things I plan to do with the car.
- Complete paint prep in engine compartment
- Install a carberated 302 and c-4 trans ( I have a 351w but it would need to bored out and that gets expensive.)
- Continue to prep car for paint (will be a white car) and use bondo where nessisary
- Put finishing touches on interior
- obtain new headlights for the car
