HID Headlights and Foglights installed. :-)

How often do you guys get flashed with those. I know that with the aftermarket kits you don't get that nice cut off that you have with a lot of factory HID's most of the time. Just wondering how severe the scatter is. Do you have any pics of your lights up against a wall?

i got a set on the GN and get flashed every once in a while, but just make sure theyre aimed right and the blindingness isnt too bad for oncomers id usually get flashed every couple days. I dont think its really blinding people, they just assume your brights are on because youre putting off soo much light. One cool thing is that itll light up freeway signs a mile away haha

i havent been flashed yet... but im sure someone will. i need to take a closer look at the alignment but looking quickly they werent off.

and yes, they light up anything reflective for a long ways. signs, license plates i can see 'em all now. ill try to get better pics later. every where i went last night was all lit up.
 
Al are those 6K or 8K?



people flash me with my FACTORY 4300K's
Mine are Bixneon's so get HID high beams for their troubles :)
 
I have not been flashed yet and like others have said i just make sure i have mine aimed down and here are mine up against my garage, but i took this like 2 mins after i turned on my car so not fully powered up. also my car still have the caps over the bulbs, they are built right on the my heads so that helps with the scattering (if thats what you were referring to)

nope a buddy of mine has his dealers license and a company that he use to work for sells the ones i got so he gets them for cheap. but i love them they are great

i followed ya and went thru HIDGATE. ordered thursday 2/5 and they were here monday 2/9. nice easy install yesterday at my buddy's, maybe about an hour and a half or so.

they do add a lot of wires that takes some time to organize but other than that it was super easy.

The night I put them in I spent an hour driving around and adjusting where the beams of my light were to make sure that not only I got the most out of the light, but that it was also not aiming directly at other rivers. Only stupid crybabies flash me for my lights.

8000 or 9000...I forget. The boxes are in my garage. I'll check when I have time.

I paid a little more, but not much. I have different bulbs.
