Here is my shifter.

1. Yes, they are HUGE pics :D
2. Yes, the radio is out of the car
3. Yes, I have to paint that trim piece around the shifter :lol:

Why do you have such an ugly stock shifter for a beautiful car?

Isn't that going to make it tough for manual shifting or did you switch to a different tranny?

The gate is modified to work with a reverse manual trans, they work pretty good like that. You put it in D for first, and just pull back (without the button) and the shifter will stop in 2nd. Then you push the button in and pull back again for third. It works nice and keeps the sleeper look.

I think they use that handle because they're using the overdrive button for the trans brake.

What kind of cable do you use then and where do you buy the modified gate?

I might need to switch over..
 
Yes, I was going to use the OD button for the trans brake. It did't work out so well. It was on a relay and it took too long to disengage

I also ripped the handle off once shifting it into second. I pulled on it too hard. I'm going to get a normal T style.
 
Until you rip the handle off.....sucks. I still need to address it on my bucket.
