Hey Hey!

I worked for Bay County Prosecutor's Office through PAAM in law school. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. had 3 jury trials and a ton of bench trials.

Congratulations! There are other places I'd rather be, but the experience will be outstanding.

If you'd have become the attorney of PETA they could have used you as a mascot and attorney.

IYou're not kidding... I'm working on my first jury trial that starts October 8th.
My first case that I raised from beginning to end is in the process of wrapping up the investigation and then I'll get to file charges.
I already got to start working this graduated sanctions and drug court which I really like both and doing a shit ton of other cool stuff. The only thing I don't like is having to deal with the "lifer" prisoners though.. I was in for felony dispositions the other day and those creepy fucks wouldn't stop making comments.. they're terrible.

I didn't think of that. Them assholes. They have nothing to lose or look forward to, then you walk into the courtroom and they are like... Hey now, I'd like to see her legal briefs, if you know what I mean. But then you can smile as the Judge tacks on a few more years to their sentence. That's a big F you and have a nice day.

Like I said years ago, some people I steer away from law school, but you are so damn motivated and dedicated and smart, I knew you would do well.

I really do not want to say congratulations because that undermines all your hard work like someone gave it to you. I guess I'd say that your hard work is paying off and being noticed!

If you hadn't met me at the U of M you wouldn't have made it, so I'd like to take credit here.

good to see your doing well Kim. Best of luck to you!

Thanks!

Just dont date any car salesman while you are down there ... they stick their dick into anything that isn't nailed down !!!!!

Says the swinger... I plan to just lay low on the dating scene for a while until I find someone worth my time.. but I'll be sure to take your advice in the future.

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate it. My boss seems to really like me (the DA), I keep getting more and more assignments and I make sure to do a damn good job on every one of them regardless of how little or minor the task may be. I hope to go really far... I made a few suggestions for things we do that I think we could do differently and he was all fired up about it and actually took my suggestions which from what my co-workers say is a pretty big deal.

I owe you some fried pickles for getting me to where I am today. You may have some credit.

I'd also like some recognition.

 You get recognition for letting me be a pain in the ass when I ran that liquor store.. if it weren't for all the stupid shit I may never have done the things that initially headed off my move to Oklahoma and get this great job. So, here's to you, Ryan!

Would anyone else like a little credit?
Maybe one day when I'm rich I can have a little ceremony where I give everyone a ribbon or medal or something for making me a success.

Can I have credit...just cause

Good to hear things are going well :D

Just cause, Shelly helped me get to where I am too! We both like tuwtles.

Congrats. Glad your traveling and settling in was easier than mine. Keep up the hard work and you'll go far.

It's a little different not having my friends here, but I'm having lots of fun with some of the girls from my office and even some that are the defenders.
It'll be a lot easier when I finally have money to afford to go do things with.
Thanks for the encouragement.

i'd like to take credit for your decsion not to relocate to Ohio.........:icon_evil

Done! If everyone in Ohio is as miserable as you, I decided I wanted nothing to do with that place!

I lucked out that there are a couple people near Seattle that I know through the military so I'm not completely lost in the friends department. The money situation until I hit that deer was pretty good. Not so much now

Keep putting scumbags away and never switch to chasing ambulances
