About time! I was worrying this would be another year like two years ago where I pay $450 for a plowing contract and get plowed twice! Bring on the snow! I want to get my money's worth!

The media has been hyping this for a few days now. My rule of thumb..... for every day they talk about an impending storm, subtract an inch from whatever they predict. I'm guessing we'll get an inch.

I am ready to ride in the hood if the snow comes.

It's not a storm or bad weather until you get 2-3 feet a week

Lol, I know, they are programming kids to be scared of everything. Shit we had to go to school even when we got 6" of snow and that was in 2005. Now they get a dusting and its a snow day! They do the same with thunderstorms, pretty soon kids will not be able to go to school during those because the noise is just to traumatic for little special Johnny. We can't have him hear noises that affiliate with explosions, then he might grow up to want to blow stuff up....

My rule is that we always get half minus 2". I'm just into the 4-6" range so we'll get a dusting.

That said, I still need to dig the snowblower out of the shed and put it in the garage so today is as good a day as any.

I agree with the posts above....lots of hype = don't expect much.

Just in case, I have a 42" 2 stage snowblower mounted to my tractor. I just have to figure out how to attach the weight tray on the back, since the kit doesn't seem to be made for this tractor. I'm not afraid to drill more holes though.

No we just need a few more inches of ice on the lakes!

I got something special for those snowmobiles on white lake this year!
