on my way to the bar last night, start my car, and start driving down the road, and within 100 yards from my house my interior lights shut off. i turn the radio down, and my car is still running..

-my radio still works
-my guages still works
-my dome lights still work
-manual control of my headlights still work
-tail lights DO NOT work
-brake lights/turn signals work
-NO BLOWN fuses.

what the helll could it be? i was thinking possibly the headlight switch?

btw the vehicle is a 2000 blazer

i did to every fuse, and no blown fuses :( i even took out the fuses that could pertain to the problem for visual inspection and they all look good

well, did you check the fuses under the dash, there may be some behind the glove box as well, I know the turn signal flasher is over there?

I would say it may be the switch, but you will have to start testing wires to find out for sure

the flasher is wack-o like most blazers...makes the random noises but lights still function....

all under hood fuses are good...a quick search on google, and alot of people have the same issue, but never reported a solution!

and just took the glovebox out...no fuses by the flasher

did you check the fuses on the drivers end of the dash? definitely sounds like a power feed issue, now weather it is a fuse or not is something else

I have also seen several GMs with corrosion inside the fuse boxes kill all sorts of different circuits

Check all of the wires going to your headlight switch. This happened to my '95 Mustang a while ago, it ended up being a loose wire in the connector for my headlight switch.

my grand prix did this right around xmas, everything worked except the interior lights, replaced the switch adn all is well
