My trusty old vintage Craftsmen soldering iron tip
finally died (broke). I looked everywhere & they no
longer make replacement tips for these. A little research
said any (like Weller) element tip that would fit it would work.
Or you can use a heavy gauge copper wire. I purchased a 6” piece
from a local hardware store for $1.00. Well, it works – and a lot
cheaper that a store bought element tip.
