I've got em also. Had them for over a year and no issues. But then again I havnt had an accident or anything

I guess that's what my biggest concerne is,are they good at pay outs on a total loss,do they hassle body shops about repairs, stuff of that nature...

i have progressive they were great when i first started with them about 2 years ago but every term my insurance goes up and up. im about to look for some other place. had one incident where a guy backed into me in a parking lot and they only wanted to put reman parts on it not original, it was a lease so i didnt care but if it were my truck id be upset.

They were the cheapest I found. I had a truck totalled in 2003 and they were pretty good on the claim. Plus I like that you could do it all online. I am about to go shop it around, though. I think you should check every few years.

I have had them the last 7 years. The first 6 years were great, no hassles, cut my insurance by almost half of AAA, and would go down every year since. Except my last billing cycle, my insurance went up, with no tickets or anything. It's still not that bad for 2 vehicles, but I may start shopping around if it goes up again at my next renewal.

I've had good luck with them so far...going on 4 years. I do the 6-month upfront payment option which saves me even more money. I shopped around last year and no company could even come close (AAA, State Farm, AllState) so I stayed with them. Insurance has gone down every year except in January 09 it went up $20 total for the 2 cars on the policy. No big deal.

No accidents on my record.
No tickets on my record.
Age- mid 30's.
Excellent Credit
Both cars are leased (an 08 and 07).

Thinking about buying next vehicles as leases end in early 2010 so I will shop around with insurance companies once again as I've heard some negative things about Progressive when it comes to repairing damage from an accident. This becomes a concern when if I actually own the vehicle this time instead of leasing it.

The Cobra is under collector car insurance with another company.

We actually had an issue with them earlier this year. My mom used them for commercial insurance on her truck. The fucking dumb bitch on the phone valued the truck WAY off and she got shafted for around $7,000 after rolling it on the freeway in a white out. Luckily she was okay, however progressive wouldn't replace ANY equiptment. She had over $1,000,000 in coverage on her policy for her line of work and they wouldn't replace shit. They were supposed to pay for her ambulance bill and hospital bill. About 3 weeks ago we got a bill for it and Progressive didn't pay it as they said.

In a single week when all this bullshit happened I spent a SOLID 10+ hours on the phone with some prick that thinks his shit doesn't stink. We had to have copies of recorded phone calls sent to us, get a lawyer involved, it was a NIGHTMARE. Progressive was fine and dandy and had good rates as well...up until the claim is when it went seriously ass backwards. In my eyes they fucked someone who busts her ass for a living 90% of the year with no days off. We now switched all three vehicles to State Farm and couldn't be happier. I had two claims with AAA last year on my Camaro and had NO problems with them at all. They were very nice and took care of me %120. Fuck Progressive and that stupid bitch on the commercials.

So far so good.. but they're not called Progressive for nothing. The premiums progressively go up every year.

Actually this year it went down about $300 but the last two years it went up around $300/year so i'm finally getting back to where it should be.

I used to have them for everything, but they'd screw up my billing every 6 months at renewal and Id have to re-fax paper work. Found it cheaper somewhere else, now I only use it on my bike cause they were still the cheapest. For the record I never filed a claim so I don't have any experience with them in that regard.

i have them now. my rates went up with my old one so i shopped around and they had the lowest price. i like em so far.

It depends on how inexperienced the adjuster is. They get two weeks of training on a laptop and are sent on their way. You usually end up dealing with supervisors at some point. Now this is with repairable cars. I have never heard feedback on T/L settlements. I might use them if all I have was PL/PD, but the adjusters scare me.

X2

Don't do it

If you want any further info PM me or talk to any body shop that has had to deal with them!

Um, no offense, and I'm not defending Progressive...BUT

Every body shop bitches and moans about every adjuster who walks in the door...

Read my post on the second page. We got paid for half of what the truck was worth, and thousand of dollars in equiptment was lost. We drove from MI to IN to take the light bar off the truck, we got there and someone already took all the shit off it and progressive said it was transferred to another location but they didn't know where. Before you think I'm an idiot and the truck wasn't insured properly it had a ONE MILLION dollar policy on it because the line of work she does. It took them over two weeks to have the truck to a body shop to determine it was totalled. The frame looked like a fucking W, how is it not totalled?

Whoever said theyre reps are a joke is right, I talked to a "supervisor" every time. I assume a supervisor is someone who recieved 4 weeks of training instead of two. :spank:
