Help pick colors for my kitchen :)

While the wife and kids are in Texas I’m remodeling the kitchen. I think I’m going to end up painting the cabinets, new counter top-possibly even tile the counter and back splash ,back splash either way. New sink also. Think I’m getting rid of built in seating and could wainscot that area. And the floor, laminated wood or sticky tile. New appliances are to follow.

I could seriously use opinions on color choices, I do not have an eye for this stuff and really don’t want to go all white.
Looking at images on the net doses no good for me, haven’t been able to visualize it.
If you have the ability to see it please chime in I need help.
They get home on the 10th so I’m going full steam ahead till then, doors are all off and counter will come out after work tomorrow, get them all sanded then go from there!

What does your wife like? Modern robot tech stuff? Old world italian? Spanish stuff? Beach vibe? Pastel easter bunny stuff? Rustic log cabin? Go from there...

Errr I’m the cook in the house!
Kinda thinking a bright blue wall and cabinet frame and a tile backsplash. Counters and floor would also tie in somehow, with white doors and matching blue hardware. I think that sounds nice but hard to say.

I put a laminate floor in my kitchen a few years ago, I like it, and it's holding up pretty well. I don't have children though, just two dogs. I'd go that route over sticky tile. I had linoleum before the laminate, and I was able to put the cushion stuff down and lay the new floor right over it.

I think that if the cabinets are in good enough shape you white wash them to keep the character of the wood grain. Do either a gray blue or gray green paint and a laminate or vinyl plank medium to dark brown floor it would be a good looking space on the cheap. The built in you could keep the wood seat and wainscot the face and back rest to brighten it up.

This also sounds nice, maybe have to lean to a brighter shade because I’d like a bright, bold look.
