A co-worker of mine has a 1987 camaro with a 350. He's attempting to install a aftermarket tachometer and he can't firgure what the negative lead on his coil. He says it has 2 plugs, a grey one and a black one. They both have 2 wire coming from them what color and which plug should he use? Thanks for your input.:confused:
 
Is it a stock coil? If I remember correctly . . . it should be a pink wire and a white wire. Pink on is coil power and what is negative.

If all else fails . . . test for power at the 2 wires, use the wire that does not have power going to it.
