check out the website to get proper dimentions for optimum sound and build the box to that... if you want to make it so it looks like it was made for it just make a ''face plate'' to fit the hatch... you can also make cut outs in it to mount the amps and caps... use a table saw if you want to make sure all the cuts are the same lenth and straight... i used to use 3/4" or 1" mdf (medium density fiberboard) and or plexiglass... there are alot of ways to do it to make it look good...

This guy probably has one at his shop...lol.

As a matter of fact i think I seen one that would work last time I was there.

that one, well, theres 2, ones for a cavalier and one for a '96+ civic hatchback...

the civic one was self contained except for the head unit... it could just be unpluged and removed for the track...

i did a s-10 that was featured in hot rod magizine about 7-8 years ago. it was body droped, with a hand made dash, hood, dodge viper seats, and a '59 chevy front end.

very nice +1... im thinking of getting rid of my armrest and moving my shifter if you want to do some fiberglass work for me this winter... where are you located

Hey, how should i position my subs? should i have them in the hatch facing up like you did in the firebird(?)? or should i build the box and have them facing towards the rear bumper? what is gonna be the best position to get the most sound?
