Help! Anyone a Jaguar expert or work for Jaguar?

find just the female end somewhere, like cut it off a totaled one. I have a few for f150's . Then just plug it in?

Thats just one way.

Thank you so much for checking on that...very much appreciated!

What's a vdp? Is that the extended one? Haha, I'm obviously not a Jaguar expert yet. :emb:

There is the standard length XJ8 (base) and XJR (fast). Then the long version is the XJ8L (base, long wheelbase, Vanden Plas (most luxurious, long wheelbase), and super V8 (VP with R engine).

I have always liked Jaguars. My mom has owned a '92 VP 6 cylinder, '00 XJR blk/blk, '00 XJR blk/white, and is currently in a '01 XKR coupe (used for Jaguar of America's website, first '01 coupe in the country).

I thought Jags were basically FORDs with Jag styling.

Heck, Look at the rear of a Jag, then look at the rear of a ford taurus (not the current model). Ford/Jag went overboard with the whole OVAL styling.

The only ford and jag that share components is the X-Type and mondeo, otherwise the other chassis are completely different. The 3.0, 4.2, and 4.2s/c are jaguar specific engines. The XK's were an Aston Martin design that Aston couldn't afford to produce, so Jaguar bought the design (look at the late 90's DB and compare it to the XK coupe). During the mid 90's through mid 00's they did go nuts with the oval styling, thank god that they have since gone more contemporary with their designs (vs. retro).
