Going to look at a 95 mustang that the seller says needs a new heater core. He told me its right behind the glove box and easy to get to. I'm sure someone can confirm or deny this.

should be about 7 bolts total

remove kick panels on both driver and passenger foot wells

then the vent guard cover 3 bolts behind that then you should be in the clear and a 2nd person helps when pulling the whole assembly out of the vehicle

Im pretty sure the center console has to come out too.

yep defn has to come out

I would pull off the door sill plates also and roll back the carpeting its going to make a lil bit of a mess

To pull the whole black heater box out there is a bolt in the engine bay you need to un do well its more of a nut

Its also easier if you pull out the radio cause you need to get to a bolt behind there.

Don't forget the steering linkage thats a 10mm bolt that you can unbolt from right behind the steering column. Be sure to un do the wiring to the control boxs in the kick panels makes it easier after you finish taking out the last bolt. Seat removal is I believe a 15 mm socket

15mm
10mm
13mm
5/16
7 or 8mm
clip removal tool
an extension or 2
torx 15 or 20 for the radio bezel
radio removal tools

2 people

and a new heater core should get the job handled
