heat question

i have a 2001 saleen mustang and the heat on has low speed. when i turn the control to mids or high nothing changes. what could it be? i switched part thats behind the glovebox and still no results. what else can i check/do?
 
the we changed the resister. i couldnt think of what it was called.

but hows a switch go bad and how much are they
