Great, on top of everything else I have to do on the 21st to get ready for the party, I need to by a card and a gift. Maybe the wifey will like some Red Bull and Grey Goose. :lol: :roll:
 
F that. I will not cave in to this Hallmark holiday. It's just a scam for the stores to make money on flowers and candy in October. I never even heard of Sweetest Day until I moved to Michigan. Even my wife thinks it's BS so she isn't expecting anything.

We're one of very few (maybe even the only state) that has it.


Matt, tell us again about the Ex-GF you had in AZ who's friends thought you were the most sweetest cuddly bear ever for "making up" a holiday to send her gifts on.

My dad taught me well - I have stood my ground with every girl I ever dated.... (including my now wife) I do not celebrate Sweetest day and I have never celebrated Valentines day. I was always gone on V-Day because it always fell on our yearly Snowmobile trip accross the UP. This was in effect way before we started dating. Also Sweetest day falls during Bow season - LOL My wife is a good woman, and I make it up to her at different times...
