Why were these headers such a pain to get on? They look to be slip tube?

Also you need to replace those frame ties with some some heavy duty ones.

mine are 1 7/8 to a 3.5" collector. The rest of my exaust is only small 3"

well the driver side header would not fit without major surgery to the header! i am just gonna have a custom set built!:spend:

Fogged here are the pictures of the headers you asked about. I run the hooker headers from summit they run about 600. Not as nice as oj's but they work.
OJ plus one for the headers they look good.
