Head/gasket Question

Ok here's the story. A friend of mine let someone borrow her car. While they were driving the alternator/waterpump belt came off. They drove till the battery died.

I did a compression test and got 30psi on one cylinder and the rest were at zero. I figured blown head gasket. Pulled the head of tonight and the gasket still looks to be in good shape. When I undid the head bolts they weren't all the same spec.

Coolant didn't mix with the oil however there was barely any coolant left in the radiator. Couple of the exhaust ports were white from burning the coolant.

My question is do you guys think the block is warped? I'm assuming the head is because its aluminum but what about the iron block. Should I just get the head milled and put a new head gasket on?

Car is a 97 Mazda 626 with the 4 cylinder. I believe 2.0?

Alright another dumb question but what can I use for a straight edge? I know I can use a piece of metal but I have no idea where to get any around here
