Love hearing stories from the good ol days - My dad bought a 1969 olds 442 in Wyandotte new in 1969 (I have all the paperwork and title - car was stolen )and has a lot of cool stories from back in the day around here !! Hope you find your buddies
 
Pretty sure the ol allen rd drag club is gone. Allen Rd is basically a parking lot now with all the traffic it sees. If draggin is from 0 - 30 then maybe it still has a shot, but i've never heard of it and I was born in 79, hope this helps
 
My uncle has told me tons of stories about racing there along time ago, We used to play a mean game when I was younger with his vette. Its was funny to watch how pissed people got when they'd get hussled into a race by a 10 year old..

i went to Taylor truman high school, in taylor mich. thank you for responding, also looking for tony t had a 429 torino cobra, at taylor truman, i had a 69 charger 440 4 speed, 65 red pontiac gto 4 speed, played foot ball, track, basketball,for taylor truman, the first year of the school,
