Hastings Machine Shop in Hazel Park - Anyone use them?

Just wondering if anyone has had good or bad experience with the Hastings Auto Parts Machine Shop in Hazel Park? I have an LS1 that needs some basic work (ball hone, cam bearings, polish crank), they are close to me, and the prices seem reasonable.

I work in Sterling Heights and I can usually get out and run errands at lunch, but live in Royal Oak, so I'd prefer something in the vicinity.

Don is a good guy, and he knows his shit! I have had good experience with him. Just make sure when u get your cam bearings installed you give him the cam too, so he can make sure the fitment is correct!

I was actually looking for more of a performance oriented shop than Hastings and Champion looks like it fits. I left a message with them Friday but evidently they have the day off. Thanks!
