Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

How is everybody cooking their bird today? I did a brine of kosher salt, maple syrup, thyme, sage, garlic, black pepper, soy sauce, and brown sugar. She's out there smoking over apple and hickory as we speak :)

I took ours and handed it to my wife. I smash the potatoes and taste test everything.

And that is the best way to cook your turkey :lol:

How'd it turn out Tin? Sounds fantastic. I went to two family gatherings and we weren't responsible for the bird this year.

Came out awesome. I made a gravy from the drippings, turkey stock, flour, white pepper, and portabella mushrooms. I've been cooking Thanksgiving dinner the last 5 years. It's my war on dry flavorless turkey lol.
