Heres what my girlfriend and I did for our Halloween party last weekend. Can you guess who? :secret:
She made both costumes. My helmet was made out of clay, we went to Home Depot and bought some dry wall wire mesh and used tin snips to make a mold of my head then she used 24-hour clay around and inside it. We then lined the inside with foam padding and painted it. She did a REALLY good job on it. Her mom came over and helped her with the sewing with her costume and my girl made my cape.
The blue paint was water based acrylic paint. It dried real quick and didn't smudge at all. Came right off in the shower leaving no blue tint to her skin at all. We used the Halloween colored spray paint stuff that they sell at the Halloween store for our hair.
Only thing we wish we had were the yellow contacts for her, but them damn things cost $300 so we decided not to get em
We could have got the $70 ones but they were only the iris part and wouldn't have looked that good.
Total cost for both costumes was around $130
