Does Grundy cover you if you have an issue at the track?
Two scenarios of concern - physical damage to my vehicle and liability of I hit someone else.
 
Sweet thread. I need to shop my insurance around anyway and have been thinking that the wagon needs to be on a collector policy in case something happens due to the massive rift between market prices and book price. I think I'm going to gather up VINS and make a call here as soon as I post this.

at the track nobody covers a wreck except the bill lutz track insurance

Your Grundy coverage ends as soon as you hit hot pit. There are on-track insurance policies from other companies but they are per-track-event, large deductible, and not cheap. I believe that they only cover damage to your vehicle and not liability. You would have to have a personal liability policy to cover that.
 
My cars are both thru Grundy too. I had a jack get loose in my trailer when I had my 72 truck in there and it beat the grill bezel the death and they came out looked at it and took care of paying for it in a week. Great to deal with and as stated, cheaper than haggerty.
 
Got a quote thru Grundy, hoping Sean can get it a little lower. What info is needed to quote me? Haggery was significantly more expensive than grundy.

best way to get the details is to call me. i can do it right over the phone with them to get a rough idea.

ill be in monday between 8:30-8:45
 
you can do it yourself online without using an agent.i did it but you'll need pics of front and back,both sides and the interior.they won't insure it if you have a roll though.i did my streetrod last year with haggerty and I doubt things have changed that much.
