Going to run around with it on motor just want to be able to cruise until I can save for something cool again...I am starting my MBA next year and need $$$.
 
The funeral is next saturday. I think turbobuick should buy a camaro and put this one on it so he can beat him next year!

Drive around yes, but drive to school and risk getting stolen or something not so much...a stock ls1 in there and I might be able to afford to put enough insurance that I could at least get a portion of the money back.
 
So if you don't mind me asking, how fast did the car go? Won't matter any more right. I saw it make some passes and was impressed.

No secret it went 9.05 at 157 on a mid 1.4 60 ft. Or something like that I have the slip somewhere...wasn't full boost and the tuneup was anything but stellar.
 
What was the fastest before the turbo setup? I am assuming you progressed alot in 1 year.

12.3 at 113 on a 1.60 60 ft. Stock LT1 with ported heads/cam n/a. Daily drove the thing.
 
3 seconds and 40+ mph is a huge jump.. I have a good friend that went from a 9.40 at 155 non wheelie bar street bike to a 7.50 at 195+ ride in one year, pretty scary when you really think about it.

Scary on a bike for sure! And 2 seconds from 9.40 is WAYYYYYYY crazier than 3 seconds from 12.3 and then add the bike factor! lol...I drove my dad's car inbetween though and we got his going 10.9's not bad for his daily driver. So it wasn't like 12.3 and next pass was 9.3 lol...but it was definitly a jump from 10.9 to 9.9 and then 9.5 and then 9.0 all within a month or so.
