Projected Status - We are in the final design-development phase . Our schedule calls for production and testing of our prototypes in 2011 followed by production of our first 36 production cars in 2011/2012.

So at this point someone should have one, right? Where the hell is it?

If you wish to purchase a Dagger GT, please e-mail us at [email protected]. TranStar Racing™ is only producing a limited number of Dagger GTs in 2011/2012 for our customers. The base model, the Dagger GT-S or “Sport” model, will have a probable MSRP price of $750,000 plus whatever you wish to add from an unlimited list of options. The Luxury model will cost about $850,000 depending on the added options you wish to select. We expect the Luxury model to compete with the million-dollar exotics in terms of luxury, and stomp them in performance. The 3 racing models will also depend on options selected, including a 2700 hp engine option and racing equipment like a roll cage and drag chutes for landspeed and drag racing. You can also choose a programmable split wing for road racing. Plan on $800,000 for the 3 racing options. We will work out final pricing during the specification and customization process for your car while we negotiate your final sales agreement.

The site mentions they are looking for investors to make it happen. If you've dreamed up a car that sounds so ridiculous that you can't even get dudes in Saudi Arabia to give you money to get it to happen you've accomplished more than someone that actually built such a car.

Wonder how nissan feels about the name. Was excited reading about the goals thinking it would be one of those, and then disappointed to see it wasn't one.

Reminds me of the Vector, Hennessey supercar, Falcon Mach3, all impressive cars, but never made it to market.

Can it actually be said that the Falcon Mach 7 has failed to make it to market? It was just this year they had it at NAIAS and they seemed to be moving forward with it then. At least they've built a couple cars unlike the car this thread is about.

Speaking of small companies that got themselves into NAIAS though, add the Revenge company to that list. They even had a car there twice and still proved to be snake oil dealers.

I did some Googling last night and one page I read said that they claimed to have built a car and did 0-60 in 2.2s. However, it was noted that there was no pictures or video of the run so it's probably complete BS.

I still think that the website was created by some kid for a web design class. Once the internet car community found it they just took it and ran so he kept updating it. It's complete vaporware.

That actually seems like a likely origin of it really. I wonder if google imaging the car renderings would turn up another place that maker of the website may have stole them from if that is the case.

.

I do not know if falcon Mach 7 has delivered any cars to customers. I hope they do and succeed, but to succeed, you have to make money. All it seems now is investor's money making R&D car(s) to drive around, testing and showing off.
If the prototype is finished, start production.
