GTR pulling wheel up

AMS has it together with the GTR's Shit a STOCK 2012 GTR goes 10.90-11.00. Intakes, down pipes, exhaust, injectors + fuel pump with E85 and guys are going low tens high nine. AMS has a GTR going in the 8's. Im not sure if this is the one or not, judging by the pic it probably is.

Agreed. They do some great work with imports

Does it still use the AWD system? Maybe the converted it to RWD only like the Lambo's do

I had no idea how a GT-R powertrain was laid out. This thread got me wondering. If anyone else wondered and didn't know...

I can honsetly say I knew absolutely nothing about the powertrain in those.

Trans/T case/rear axle

The transfer case location ensures that unless you are in the 1:1 or a higher gear you will never have even 50% of torque to the front because you can only send half the engine torque up front. only torque to the rear can be multiplied by the trans ratios.

these cars are machines. Few guys have some realllly quick ones out. AMS, Switzer, John Sheppard, Forged ect. We supply parts to these guys and youd be amazed at how many of these things drive to the track..go mid 9's or faster..then drive home. Guys that have these cars have no problem dropping money into them. Im talking $2500+ just for an exhaust. Cars are just awesome.
