They have a 2JZ Maverick too. They're big fans of that style spoiler as well. Every car in their show display has it.

Well judging by what is added, it looks like it might be set up for some high speed runs at bonneville or something. Those spoilers, splitters, deflectors, etc are all for air control and stability at high speeds. Those fender flares are questionable but may also be to prevent a high pressure pocket in the wheel well.

i remember seeing a black porshe 928 in detroit about 20 years ago and i tell the thing was bad ass.the thing was flared out more than this car.
